About Me

What can I say about me? To start, I’m a small town kid. I was raised in Albion, Pennsylvania, where I graduated from high school in 2013 from Northwestern and went on to major in marketing at Penn State Behrend. But what else is there to me?

I am a sports addict. No matter the time of year, I have some sport to play. Baseball has always been my pride and joy and always will be, but I enjoy any sport there is. I spend my summers playing slow pitch and a lot of time on a golf course, even if it doesn’t show on my score card. In the winter and into spring I spend time playing volleyball in a church league back home too. You can find me playing basketball at any time of the year too.

Since going off to college, I have ventured out and tried new sports as well. I recently started snowboarding and wake boarding too. I had never done either due to sport obligations since I was a kid, but I have found two new things that I truly enjoy and cannot get enough of when I am able to go out and do them.

I find peace in being outdoors and I try to spend as much time outdoors as possible. Fishing and hunting are things I have put somewhat aside while being in college, but I am looking to spend a lot more time outside hunting and fishing after graduation.

My life revolves around sports. Most of what I am doing at any given time is playing or watching some type of sport. Sports have given me a competitive mindset that I use in the workplace to strive to be a perfectionist at whatever my task is. So you can say sports are what Grant Panko truly is and what has shaped my life.
